Death of Charter Member Dick Gordon

Greetings fellow Rotarians,

Peter Gordon, son of our beloved Dick Gordon, just phoned me to let me know that Dick passed away peacefully this morning, surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.  It is with bittersweet sadness that I convey this message, because while I know we will all miss the dearly loved Dick very much, Peter relayed the thankfulness the family all has for the love and legacy that Dick leaves with all of us, for the peace that they have at his peaceful passing surrounded by their love, and for the fact that he is now with his lovely wife, Jane. Peter asked me to let you all know of his passing, and that he will be calling me tomorrow with funeral details.  I will relay those to you just as soon as possible.
