Dictionary Project Provides 3rd Graders with Fact-Filled Books Beginning on October 8

The Dictionary and Gazetteer is a comprehensive reference book including not only 32,000 words, but also treaties about the environment, facts about land and water conditions in worldwide countries, information about animals that live in nine habitats on seven continents and information about the Earth and its atmosphere. Let us, as committed Rotarians, make a difference in the quality of life of third grade students and help them, “To Learn to Read and Read to learn.” It is through this literacy program that students can improve their communication skills as well as their quality of life and that of the community-at-large.District Contact: Nancy C.
