Ellen Letourneau is Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator at Montgomery Countryside Alliance.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, and has long been involved in her community through literacy and mentorship programs, organizing and throwing events, giving workshops, and supporting charitable causes.  The mission of the Montgomery Countryside Alliance is to promote sound economic, land-use and transportation policies and programs that preserve the natural environment, open spaces, and rural lands in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve for the benefit of all Washington Metropolitan area residents. 

Caroline Taylor is Executive Director of Montgomery Countryside Alliance.  Caroline has worked on environmental and agricultural issues for much of her professional career.  She worked at National Wildlife Federation on a wide range of cases and issues including:  Spotted Owl, Key Deer, Exxon oil spill, food policy, forest preservation and, water resources. Caroline comes from a long line of farmers and ranchers, from Pennsylvania, Virginia and Idaho. Growing Legacy, Caroline’s second film project, tells the story of the farms and farmers on metro’s edge in Montgomery County’s Agriculture Reserve.
